Dear Parents,
Welcome to Project A.S.P.I.R.E 2007-2008. Your child has the opportunity to be apart of our academic and asset building after school program. We are excited to extend the invitation to all 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6-8 grade students in the Rock Hill Urban WEED and SEED neighborhoods who are in need of additional academic preparation or social asset building. Project A.S.P.I.R.E is an innovative after school program that is designed to encourage and inspire the importance of academics.
Project A.S.P.I.R.E will focus around academic tutoring and preparation. Students will participate in a homework club session each day that consists of 45 minutes. After this time the student will have the option of continuing on in a tutoring session with a qualified tutor. The students will also par take in a recreation activity led by the staff. The third major aspect of the program is social asset building, focusing on character education (i.e. - responsibility, self esteem, goal setting).
Project A.S.P.I.R.E will run daily after school until 5:30 p.m. Our hours have been thought out very carefully to serve the students best needs. Please use this time to decide if these hours fit your schedule. A late fee will be enforced for all late pick ups of students. Please look over the Project A.S.P.I.R.E. calendar to observe the noted days that Project A.S.P.I.R.E will be closing early or closed for the day.
If you should have any questions, please feel free to call office 328-1722.

We are looking forward to a great year,
