FORWARD STEPS MINISTRIES is a non-profit ministry organization. Founded as a Christian Outreach Ministry Through Liberty Community Church, committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our goal to follow

Matthew 28: 19-20 while building upon 1 Cor. 13th chapter. We must go and teach and make disciples of others  that they may know that God is concerned about their total lives. In order to do this effectively we must recognize that God has given us diverse gifts and because of this love we share through him that we reach out into our communities and elsewhere to help us help others. It is our goal to meet needs whatever they may appear to be.

We are as well committed to the training of our youth and their development. FORWARD STEPS we believe God has given vision, for where there is no vision the people perish. We believe we can do all things through him because he strengthens us.

We hope you will find a way to help us in this labor of love by using what gift God has given you.

About FORWARD STEPS MINISTRIES

Why we see the need:

FORWARD STEPS recognizes that each of us possess unique talents.

God has made us independent beings with free will. Still we are also dependent beings as well. For when we hurt we find that we need one another . No one  human being can supply all of another person's needs.

But by the Lord using others, everyone of his or her needs can be met by someone.

At FORWARD STEPS we believe our ministry is not so much as to do it ourselves, but  the important thing is to match the need with the right source of help. We do not call a plumber to fix the lights nor do we call a mechanic to come for the heart attack. When we recognize a human problem, it is our God- given responsibility to try to find the help that is needed. Our primary concern is the good of the individual we helping, and so we should utilize all of our appropriate and available resources to him or her.

FORWARD STEPS MINISTRIES then knows that it would be wonderful if we had all the resources within it's self, but it doesn't and most of the time we will not, because nobody can do it all. However , there are agencies and individuals within our community who are trained and equipped to help us respond to these needs.

FORWARD STEPS MINISTRIES also believes that by turning to the community resources for help in it's mission is the bible's teaching of being concerned about the total person. The Total Person.  Ministering to the total needs of person's life. Spiritual..Soulical, or Body, as well as social being.

FORWARD STEPS MINISTRIES also recognizes that there are persons and agencies available to us who may not share our faith, However, they do have the professional training, equipment and resources we lack, But they as we share and have concern and compassion for others in need.

And finally as Christians working with others who are willing and prepared to help, this interaction with available community resources is good stewardship. It will enable LIBERTY COMMUNITY CHURCH/FORWARD STEPS MINISTRIES to maintain it's ministerial goal of meeting the needs of persons we would be other-wise ill-equipped to help. It gives us the opportunity and a blessing to share in the lives of skilled professionals, some whose lives would not be affected by the traditional ministry of the church. It relieves them from the financial and personal burdens of trying to do everything themselves.

God does not require of us something he has not equipped or prepared us to do. And he has not equipped all of us the same abilities or interest, but he has given us common sense and we are responsible to use it.

When someone reaches out to Liberty Community Church/FORWARD STEPS MINISTRIES, We will not be satisfied until he or she is being helped.

Government agencies, private institutions, and individual professionals exist to help. We are not and cannot be satisfied by responding with

I don't know, or I don't have or don't have enough.

Even though sometimes it would seem to be the truth.
